This model requires no installation, only electricity. ULTRA FILTRATION METHOD Ultra filtration is not much different from reverse osmosis (RO) in terms of the filtration process. The difference is in the size of the membrane pores. In UF it is 0.01 microns and in reverse osmosis (RO) it is 0.0001 microns. This allows reverse osmosis (RO) to filter out 99% of impurities, but this is not always necessary. Ultrafiltration is cheaper to purchase, easier to install and simpler and less expensive to maintain than RO.
